This is a simply stunning oil painting on canvas framed in an exquisite solid wood frame.  The painting depicts King Edward VII captured shortly after his coronation and is after the original painted by Sir Samuel Luke Fildes in 1902.  The canvas itself measures 72" x 48", painted by hand by one skilled artist the likeness and depth of quality is wonderful - please see the many photos provided.  The painting is framed in a large solid wood frame which overall measures 92" x 68".  The frame is solid wood with applied 'gesso' style moulding to the front, a very unusual frame that compliments the painting beautifully.
